Our goal as instructors is to make every student better than we are.

Professor

Professor Bill Logan - Kyudan (9th Degree)

Professor Logan has been training in martial arts for 42 years, and teaching in Tallahassee for the past 28 years. He holds the ranks of 9th Dan in Kajukenbo, 7th Dan in Shaolin Kenpo, Expert Instructor Level 3 in Krav Maga, a Black belt in Combative Jiu-Jitsu, and is a long time associate in FCS Kali under Tuhon Ray Dionaldo. He also studied a different style of Kenpo (a Parker break-off) under Dan Kaufman in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He was a professional kick boxer for 4 years, and a bouncer for 8 years in Montana where he developed his unique style of street effective grappling. Professor Logan is on staff for the International Martial Arts Council, and he is the State Director for the International Kenpo Council of Grand Masters, which is a continuation of the legacy of Senior Grandmaster George Pesare.

Master Instructor

Tammy Logan - Godan (5th Degree)

Ms. Tammy has been studying martial arts for over 21 years. She holds 5th Dan in Shaolin Kenpo, a 5th Dan in Kajukenbo and 1st Dan in Tae Kwon Do. Ms. Tammy is a kickboxing instructor, teaches Women's Self Defense Classes, and is a Certified Instructor in Krav Maga as well as a Certified Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics instructor. She was awarded Krav Maga Female Instructor of the Year for 2011 and is also state co-director for the International Kenpo Council of Grand Masters. She is also a member of THE LAST RESORT  team.

Cathrine Hancock - Godan (5th Degree)

Ms. Cathrine has been studying martial arts for 22 years. She holds the rank of 5th Dan in Kajukenbo and Shaolin Kenpo. She has competed in full contact kickboxing and was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2022. Ms. Cathrine enjoys the physical and mental challenges of Shaolin Kenpo, as well as the comradery. She currently works at Florida State University as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Physical Oceanography. Ms. Cathrine teaches Shaolin Kenpo and kickboxing.

Senior Instructors

Chad Camp - Yondan (4th Degree)

Mr. Chad holds a 4th degree in Shaolin Kenpo and a 1st degree in Tae Kwon Do and has studied Aikido. He has been a Law Enforcement Corrections officer for ten years as a Sergeant. He is currently studing to be a paramedic and is EMT certified. He was also a bouncer for two years. Mr. Chad teaches Kickboxing and Children's Classes.

Collin Roehner - Yondan (4th Degree)

Mr. Collin has been studing Kenpo for 11 years. He is currently a student working on his major. His major is in speech pathology with a minor in philosophy. Collin has competed in full contact Muay Thai kickboxing and fought for the XAC welterweight title in 2012.

Instructors

All of our instructors must complete the one year assistant instructor program before becoming a full instructor.

It takes many years to become a senior instructor.

Roger Vanlandingham - Sandan (3rd Degree)

Mr. Roger holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo and has studied Yoshukai and Shotokai Karate. He has been a kenpo practitioner since 2010. He is a U.S. Army veteran. He teaches Kenpo and Escrima.

Jon Henderson - Sandan (3rd Degree)

Mr. Jon holds the rank of 3rd degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo. He has trained in Shaolin Kenpo under Professor Logan since 2010. Outside of the dojo Mr. Jon works as an IT Consultant contracting to various private companies and government agencies.

Jennifer Dobert - Sandan (3rd Degree)

Mrs. Jenn is a 3rd degree Black Belt. She has trained in kenpo and kickboxing under Sensei Logan since white belt. She’s a loving mom of two, wife to a fellow black belt, and has always been athletic at heart. By day, Mrs. Jenn is a women’s health pharmacist with a focus in functional medicine and healthy lifestyle coaching. Her favorite Sensei Logan Karate Quote: “how you train is how you fight”

Jake Dobert - Nidan (2nd Degree)

Mr. Jake holds the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo. He has trained for 28 years in various martial arts including Shaolin Kenpo, Koro Ken karate, Ju Jitsu, kickboxing and Escrima. He holds a 1st degree Black Belt in Koro Ken karate and a 2nd degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo. Further, Mr. Jake has competed in numerous grappling tournaments. Outside of the dojo Mr. Jake works as a carpenter doing both new construction and renovations. He is married to Mrs. Jennifer Dobert, and has two wonderful children.
